I think it would be a good idea to list gyms that still support powerlifting and weight lifting in this area, providing what equipement is available , location and contact names
(not too many of us still left nowadays)

Alan Collins - now there is a blast from the past! We know the gyms that support PL and WL Alan, they affiliate to the BWLA and enter lifters in competitions.

Hi Lyndon long time no see !
not quite what i meant there are many independantly run gyms like my own that have equipement suitable for powerlifters use or WL .
lifters from my gym still enter BWLA held competitions same as they do all other strength related sports and i try to provide the best possible equipement there is available for them to be able to persue their own chosen sports , i dont know if you were aware of what happened in the past but my powerlifting team that i spent a lot of time, money and effort into just disintgratted because of internal fueds between the lifters themselves joining rival organisations despite my efforts in trying to keep them loyal to BWLA in the end i just thought what the hell no ones paying me to put up with this so i just slung the lot of them out and remained the only one here still competing in BWLA untill 1998 (i am still a life member) now i am considering a return for just last time and have already coached Andras Csiszar to his win in the SE 75kg bwt div recently and the gym has been re equipt with all the lastest technology in powerlifting and hopefully i will be able to produce some good lifters again ! but i must remain nuetral as i am not going through all the troubles i had before again , last time they formed their own commitee ! and sent a spokesman with their demands ! he lasted about three seconds before he went out the door ! its my way or the highway but i remain loyal to BWLA.
